Naturally, I requested to be added as a "friend" (leaving a short note), and thus far 13 or so have accepted. It really is quite amazing you know. Actually, the whole thing is quite emotional for myself, especially as most of them are my deepest friends which I lost contact with long ago. So many memories, so many good times. And honestly, I never thought I'd speak to any of them ever again.
And you know how they say "people never really change"? In terms of actual personality, it's probably true, but in terms of the way they look, that cliche couldn't be anymore wrong. Having not seen these people for what seems like an eternity, it's shocking to see what they look like; how they've aged, how different they look. Do take note that I remember most them as how they looked when they were 10, or 11 years old.
Turns out, Colin (who I previously spoke of being a pot smoker through out junior high), is traveling Europe and is currently in Amsterdam. Lol...No suprise there. Also got the chance to reunite with other childhood friends such as Patrick, Ian, Nick, Rory, Michael and even the best friend I ever had, Alex Thompson. Had the chance to speak with Alex last night and he was undoubtedly excited to speak with me again. He said that should I come to Calgary (or vice versa for him) any time soon, we should get together. Tis been a fascinating day.
And because I honestly don't think any of them would mind, I thought I'd post a picture of each friend I've reunited with over the last couple of days.

Mike
Ian
Rory - on the left, of course
Patrick - on the left
Nick - on the left
And last, but certainly not least - Alex (on the far left)
