Yeah, Yeah, Yeah!
Oh my, where do we start?
How about we lay it simple: life is going well. Actually, "well" is more than somewhat of an understatement... "Fantastic" better describes how I've been feeling as of late. I feel better now than I have in the last seven years, and I sincerely mean that.
Finally, I feel as if things are going my way. Disappointments seems minuscule, meanwhile depression and unhappiness seem nearly non-existent. I've been waiting for this type of mental re-brith every since the beginning of this decade.
As I've explained oh-so many times before, the year 2000 was essentially a stop-gap in my life, but now - after a seemingly endless amount of problems - things are starting to look good.
Whilst I still have yet to sort my education, rest assure, I'm working on it. And when it's sorted, I'll welcome it with open arms. In the meantime, I'm just a happy person all-around. For instance, I'm feeling more confident not only about things as they are, but about the future. I'll just have to continue to do my best.
Other than that, I am pleased to say that my meet up with Mandie (the girl I met last weekend at Oakridge mall) went well. I truly believe that the two of us had a fantastic time together. However, that's all I'll say on the subject because I wouldn't want to be pushing my luck, but ultimately, don't believe it's fair to kiss & tell. I have a lot of respect for Mandie, and have no desire to treat her like some trophy. The only thing I'll say is that I really like her. She sets my mind and heart my free. I've never met anyone like her before, and am sure I never will again.
On the automotive front, Dad has bought a new car! Oh yes, it was time and let me say: it's one hell of a purchase. It's a gold/champagne coloured 1999 Acura RL 3.5 with just 54,000km. In short, the car is absolutely mind and has hardly ever been used.
And, umm, what else?
Evidently, I haven't been able to blog anywhere as much I have the past. Why? Well, it's not so much as I haven't the time, but more because I'm too busy enjoying life. Forum life, for instance, has taken a big hit. My usual online-forum visits have drastically declined. But you know, I don't really care about that. Silly though it sounds, I feel as if happiness has found me. And it's been a long time coming.

Weekly Catch Up
Evidently, I haven't been Blogging anywhere as much as I'd like since the arrival Christmas, but I hate to leave my precious online-diary (that's what these are folks - face the music) neglected. I don't even know where to begin to cover the last three weeks, but I'll do my best. It goes a little like this:
Hair:
My hair's longer than it has ever been before in my life.
HotorNot:
I once had a total of 17 double-match girls on HotOrNot.com and am currently speaking with five of them. Oddly enough, three of the five happen to be a great distance away from where I live. Whilst one of them lives in Vancouver (Mandie), the other four live in Calgary (Sarah - yes, that Sarah), two in Burnaby (Wai-Lee & Kendra) and one in Taiwan (Tiffany)
I recently got back in touch with Sarah -it's a long story - and have been talking to her about the possibility of flying into Calgary so that we can meet-up. Meanwhile, the messages between the two of us have gotten quite personal - not in regards to private life, but sexually. Not online-sex per se, but a definite tension. That's all I'm going to say.
Another girl who I just recently met on the site is one named "Wai-Lee". Thus far, we've only exchanged one email with each other, but let me tell you - big wow! I reckon she's one helluva of a girl. As she pointed out, she was stuck dumb by the fact that I not only had an IQ above ".5", but had something to say.
And the girl in Taiwan.... is just brilliant. She's not only very expressive, but artistic.
Meanwhile, Kendra's a Christian and Mandie is a complete video-game freak. They are all very different from each other, and I can't wait to talk to each one of them again.
Music:
Hmm, where are we here... Oh yeah, Rush and Porcupine Tree. 'Nuff said.
AutoSavant:
Just finished writing a new automotive article for AS, and having taken a long writing-break, it was an absolute pain to write. Took what seemed like forever.
Facebook:
I'm afraid to admit it, but I'm addicted to FB. I've been wasting countless numbers of hours on this site, and it's only getting more addictive as time passes. Not only have I've since long accepted my mother's invitation to be added as a friend, but we've exchanged a few emails - nothing of real importance - just a simple "Hi, how are you doing" kind of thing. Thankfully though, in contacting her, I've gotten her to post some old photos of myself (unknown age)

Oh, and I got my father to join Facebook too... (he's already addicted)
Miscellaneous:
I'm still looking to sort of my education, but my transcripts from Alberta have not yet arrived. It's taking a long fucking time. I suppose I'd better give them a call as I would not be the least bit surprised if one of those goverment hacks lost my request.
Over and out.

Opening A Lamborghini Dealer
Well, the dealer had the idea of inviting a ton of Hollywood stars; among them being a few of the cast members from the hit television show "Heroes". Cast members who showed up were Greg Grunberg ("Matt Parkman"), Milo Ventimiglia ("Peter Petrelli"), Kristen Bell ("Elle") and of course, Hayden Panettiere ("Claire Bennett").
Ms. Panettiere was looking rather fantastic on this particular night. Like the hair, love the outfit.

Oct 4th
Ahh, hmm, what should this post be about? Well, I guess it could be just about anything. Trouble is, I don't even really feel like writing right now, but absolutely hate to leave my Blog neglected. So then...
This week has been very much of blur. Frankly, I can't remember a whole lot of what has happened in the last four days, but I shall try and recall some of the things I've done:

Well, firstly, I watched the new episode of Heroes this past Monday. Intriguing episode and --ATTN: SPOILER -- was surprised at how well the story continued to play out. I thought with Hiro having time-traveled back to 1600's Japan and Kensei being a white man that the story was perhaps going no where, and that the show would possibly reveal it's demise by the time the second episode arrived (yeah, I'm critical). Thankfully, it hasn't and it would appear the Tim Kring has got a lot more in store for the show. C'mon, do any of you guys really believe that Sylar is dead? I sure as hell don't. Additionally, how long before Mohinder Suresh and Noah Bennett get into a situation they are unable to escape from?
And what about Nikki/Jessica Sanders? We didn't see her sweet face at all in episode #2. Thankfully though, the ever-cute Claire Bennett (played by the sweet Hayden Panettiere) made an expected appearance. I just knew that her friend from High School would find out about her rapid regeneration, but Christ all mighty, what the hell was Claire thinking by cutting her own pinkie toe off? Risky gamble, ain't it?
Although, on a side note, I'd love to be able to do that; make no mistake, I'd be cutting my hands off and then watching them regrow all day long!
*** Moving on ***
Watched a couple movies over the week. The first of two being "Serenity" - which I thought was rather boring and displayed awful acting talent, and the second being "Hot Fuzz" which I thought was very enjoyable. 6/10 for the first one, 9.0 for the latter.

And what else do I have to talk about? Well...
Weather's been mediocre, although thankfully there hasn't been as much rain as I had expected.
Been a busy week for my other Blogs, specifically My Kate Beckinsale Blog which has been off the charts. The news and pictures as of late is seemingly endless. Unfortunately, My Celebrity-based Picture Blog hasn't been updated as much as I like lately. I am finding my time do so such ever increasingly declining and as a result, I feel that I will most possibly be closing that Blog very soon. It's truly is unfortunate because I loved the premise, but I just haven't the time.
In automotive news, Lexus has finally released the final specifications for their "IS-F" performance flagship. That 5.0 litre 8-Cylinder is churning out 423bhp (a slight shade more than the BMW M3) and a monstrous 372lb-ft of torque. The latter figure meaning the IS-F outguns the M3 by some 70lb-ft of torque. It's largely behind the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG though... Nevertheless, I very much look forward to comparisons amongst the trio - that's excluding the Audi RS4 mind you.
Though, while I greatly appreciate the vehicle's technological specifications, I do question how good it'll look in the flesh. Looks quite bloated in the odd photo...

I'm afraid there isn't much else to say... So, have great weekend all.

Oct 1st
As mentioned in my previous post, the weather this past weekend was atrocious. Just awful in every way, and to think that this is merely the beginning of winter! Six months of rain, eh? The suicide rate must be through the roof; thus most probably explains why Curt Cobain (Nirvana lead signer) committed suicide (lived in Seattle)....
Oh, ok, it was an awful joke.
Thankfully, today's weather was much more, oh how should I say it, livable sounds 'bout right. Whilst it's still a bit nippy, the general temperature has risen and hell, it hasn't rained in some 7 hours. Having skipped my daily walk yesterday - because of that bloody weather - I was able to make up for it by doing my regular walking routine twice. Additionally, I couldn't help but notice I was the only one wearing sandals with jeans, but then that's quite irrelevant isn't it?
Anyways, a new episode of Heroes is on tonight and I cannot wait.
And now, I leave you with these two mouth watering shots of the new Porsche 997 GT2:

Specatcular, don't ya think?

My New Avatar
I was just thinking to myself: I should make a short post on my personal Blog. Thus what you see, is the result of both bordem and spur of the moment thinking. This post is about my new avatar on GermanCarZone - prominently on the left - and each of the picture's significance. As of late, I've admittedly been changing my avatar a great deal more than usual. I find myself getting bored with my usual dribble of avatars and furthermore, I'm getting damn sick of choosing between a car or a girl. As a result, I thought I'd create an avatar which not only showcases both, but music and art as well. The first and foremost is my interest in automobiles; but then that's a given considering GermanCarZone is a, uhh, CarZone. Anyhow, my new avatar represents my love for two of my absolute favourite automobiles, the Pagani Zonda F and the Porsche 993 Turbo. The other two images represent my love of music, art and women; the girl being Kate Beckinsale (of course, who else?) and the Middle Eastern art being the album cover of the latest Rush album, "Snakes & Arrows" (of course). And lastly, my initials - written in Rush "Moving Pictures" album font - grace the centre of the picture. I love it; in fact, I reckon it's the best avatar I've ever had.
Anyways, before I log off, I must apologize for this gosh awful post... Lol

Say It Isn't So!
Last night I was talking with my father and as per usual, we got onto a long discussion about automobiles. Such a discussion eventually led to him telling me that he saw an issue of Sport Auto magazine in a small Chinese convenience store which he had visited earlier in the day.
When he first told me of that, my head almost blew off my shoulders (with excitement, of course). Although I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little skeptical when he first told me, especially as Sport Auto is not known to be sold in North America.
Now, If you're unfamiliar with Sport Auto, I'll try to give it to you in brief explanation - it's a sports car enthusiast magazine which originates from Germany. As a result, all of the text and whatnot is written in German, although it is sold in other countries where it's text is translated. What makes Sport Auto such an amazing magazine is that each month they conduct something which they call a 'Supertest'. This 'Supertest' puts an individual car through a series of endurance events including two different racing circuits (one of which is the famous Nurburgring), as well as other such tests like slalom courses, evasive manoeuvres, etc.
It's hard to explain, but what you should know is that it's no 'normal' performance test. It's arguably the most enduring and amazing (performance) test on our earth. (dramatic!)
Anyways, I started to ask him if he was absolutely sure, but he then started to doubt himself. With that in mind, he went back to the store earlier today and made 100% confirmation. He was right, it was a real Sport Auto magazine and according to the store owner they get them every month.
What was also nice is that he decided to buy the magazine for me.
Here it is..
