That Darn Girl! *In Love*

Watched a film last night called "The Quiet", and was absolutely amazed at how good it actually was. Quite frankly, I had originally expected it to be some weak sauce low production film with a choppy plot, but boy oh boy I was wrong.

Great film it was! Well constructed, excellent acting, great story - you name it. But before you go and watch it, be warned, it ain't no happy-go film; in fact, it's quite depressing and disturbing.

Without going to much into it, let me get you the basic facts (copied from IMDB.com)

Dot (Camilla Belle), a young deaf and mute woman, is sent to live with her godparents (Falco and Donovan) and their daughter (Elisha Cuthbert). The new addition to the household realizes that everything is not copacetic in the home, and the family's dark come to light

Anyhow, as good as the film was (and as hot Elisha was), neither are the reason why I am writing this post. No, the reason for this post is for me to share my admiration for Mrs. Belle with you.

Oh my Lord.. She is undoubtedly one of the best looking girls in Hollywood.

I just cannot believe how beautiful she is. She has that whole "sweet-heart" look down to perfection. She truthfully looks like one of those girls you (certainly myself) long to spend you're entire life with; a girl you want to hug and never let go.

And as a bonus, she's around my age (20 years old)...

Hayden Panettiere

Hayden Panettiere is bar none the biggest, most popular and hottest teenager on television at the moment. Truthfully though, I didn't even really know who she was until a month ago, nor was I aware that she was staring in a television program called "Hero's". After all, I've never seen the show as I don't have cable television, but as time has passed on, the talk revolving Hayden has done nothing but sky rocket.

Thing is though, she is by no means new to television and I have in fact seen her before; anyone else remember her as Malcolm's annoying blond-haired friend on "Malcolm in the Middle"? It took me a little while to remember her face, but once I did I could not believe how much she's grown up. She's now a fine (and sexy) young woman.

To further prove my point, take a look at these scans from the recent British FHM magazine.





Amazingly, Hayden just turned 18 on the 21st of this month.

Just Wonderful

Would it be wrong for me to say that I have an affection for Sophia Bush which is just a strong as the one I have for Kate Beckinsale? Well.. I just did.

I know I've said it before, but I cannot even explain how great I think she is.

While she's obviously a cutie, I feel that her attractive strengths stretch far beyond her looks; truthfully, I believe she is a really sweet person. Her public persona is very soft and sweet; Sophia is the kind of girl you want to hug till the end of time. Most definitely the type of girl you want to marry as she has it all - intelligence, a humorous side, beauty, sexiness, maturity, etc.

Below, are some photos taken in North Carolina just yesterday where Sophia attended for a commmunity project beach cleaning.

While I don't doubt this will further add karma to her already great public persona, I truthfully don't think that was her main purpose. I think the reason she did it was because she wanted to; because she's a great person.

She has my utmost respect.

Radical Hair

Mmm..

I've noticed that as of late, there is an ever-increasing trend for Women to colour their hair with either streaks or large quantities of colourists dyes - specifically red and/or pink.

I've got to say, I absolutely love it and having seen more then a few gals around Vancouver with their hair in this fashion, it never fails to arouse me. There's something SO sexy about it; perhaps though, that's the rebellious side of this extremely conservative guy talking. Sorry for that physiological rubbish...

I haven't got any pictures of the girls I've personally seen, so as a result I'll have to use a few celebrities to prove my point.

Avril Lavigne:

I think Avril makes a strong case. I very much like what she's done with her hair here; not a whole lot colouring, but it most definitely looks cool.

Kate Beckinsale:

Thankfully, even my favourite celebrity has done this... Mind you, like Kate Winslet, this colouring was required for a film that she stared in. I'm not entirely sure Kate would have dyed it unless she had to. Nevertheless, does it not look great? I'll answer that; yes, yes it does!

Joss Stone:

As great as think both Avril and Kate look with their coloured hair; I think this British R&B artist blows them away.

Joss' idea of creating an image for herself is by streaking her hair with pink dye! Not conventional or subtle by any means; but I think it looks absolutely perfect on her. Of course, it helps when the girl herself is a beauty and Joss is certainly that.

Enough already!

While I won't deny that Megan undoubtedly gorgeous and sexy, I think her Transformers co-star, Rachael Taylor, (who played the Australian computer chick) is just as hot - if not hotter.
