You may or may not recall, but earlier last week, I wrote post in regards to my rather odd sleep habbits. Those being: hitting the sack at 7:30 pm to 8:00 pm and waking up anywhere from 4:00 am to 5:00 am
Well, over the last week or so my waking-up patterns have changed in that I am starting to get up even earlier! For instance, this morning I woke up at 3:30, while yesterday I woke to the clock reading 3:45. That means that on average I'm up for sixteen hours a day.
And once I'm up, there's little point in trying to going back to sleep.

Not Sleep Deprived
They - studies, that is - say that about 85% of people do not get the recommended amount of sleep per night. Thankfully, I'm not part of that majority.
I have sleeping habits which would make most people blow a circuit even thinking about; the same people who like to crash until 12 or 1 PM and then awake up at 7, maybe 8 am.
Me though? Oh hell no, I'm a morning person through and through. The funnest time of day for myself is undoubtedly the morning when I not only the feel most alert, but the most creative. Before the Daylight Saving Time struck Vancouver back in late October, I was hitting the sack at 8:30pm. And ever since DST changed the clock I've been hitting the sack at 7:30pm and waking up anywhere from 4:00-5:00am.
The upside is that in the morning I have awareness like few others, the downside is that by the time 6:30pm rolls around I start to get a little jaded.
I feel damn good though, and haven't any intention of changing my sleep pattern any time soon.
